In 2015, under the guidance of Professor Fugulyan Gergely, the chess section opened its doors with the first introductory courses. Over the years, together with international master Baratosi Daniel and talented instructors Iancu Daniel Bădău and Sardi Aliz, we have dedicated ourselves to the mission of initiating children in chess, training and preparing them for competitions at the highest standards.

A united community
At Juvenes, we don't just train, we create a community. With projects like Pion Campion (Pion Campion, Pion Campion Junior, Pion Campion Blitz, Pion Campion Clasic, Pion Campion Junior Local), Să jucăm șah! and Șah în natură!, we've brought together chess lovers of all ages and levels, from the very young to the veterans.

Grand Prix România
In 2022, we hosted the Grand Prix Romania, one of the largest chess tournaments in the country, with 200 athletes from 12 countries, bringing together big names in national and international chess.

Our social project: Olimpiada Juvenes
We are proud of the Olimpiada Juvenes project, through which 20 children from disadvantaged backgrounds participate weekly in our chess classes, discovering new horizons and possibilities.
